Atlantean Queen Spirit Vessel Necklace for Unshakable Inner Power, Magick Amulet
π MARIS β The Drowned Queen of the Stillwater Β· Larimar Spirit Vessel of Emotional Sovereignty, Composure & Deep Intuition Β· for the one who refuses to be ruled by every inner storm
TL;DR β Maris is a private Drowned Queen of emotional sovereignty, composure, intuition, boundaries and the stillness that exists beneath surface turmoil. Her current is for the person whose emotions can become so immediate that every difficult feeling seems to demand an equally immediate response. Maris does not represent becoming numb, permanently calm or untouched by life. She represents something much more powerful: feeling deeply while remaining sufficiently centered to decide what happens next.
Meet Maris.
Within our house lore, Maris ruled a kingdom that disappeared beneath the sea.
The story does not remember the catastrophe primarily because the water rose.
It remembers what the Queen did while it was rising.
She remained at the center.
People ran through corridors carrying whatever they could save. Bells sounded from towers already surrounded by water. The lower streets disappeared first, then the gardens, then the steps leading toward the palace.
Maris did not pretend the flood was harmless.
She did not deny that her world was changing.
She simply refused to allow panic to become sovereign before the sea itself had finished deciding what would remain.
That is the foundation of her current.
Maris is the Drowned Queen of the Stillwater, a sovereign of emotional depth, composure and the distinction between experiencing an inner storm and surrendering the entire throne to it.
She is for the keeper whose feelings sometimes arrive with such force that perspective disappears behind them.
The difficult message that colors the entire evening.
The fear that becomes certainty before anything has actually happened.
The late-night thought that grows larger simply because there is nobody awake to contradict it.
Another person's mood entering the room and somehow becoming yours.
Maris does not ask the keeper to feel less.
She asks who is ruling while the feeling is present.
That distinction is everything.
π WHAT A DROWNED-KINGDOM SOVEREIGN IS
A Drowned-Kingdom Sovereign is a private spirit type within our house tradition associated with water, emotional authority, intuition, composure and the deep mind.
Water has always been one of humanity's most natural metaphors for emotion because it moves, accumulates, reflects and changes shape while remaining fundamentally itself.
Maris develops that symbolism through sovereignty.
The surface can be disturbed while deeper water remains comparatively still.
A wave can be enormous without becoming the whole ocean.
A storm can be real without becoming permanent.
Her current therefore does not concern suppressing emotion until nothing remains.
It concerns depth.
The keeper can feel anger without immediately acting from anger. She can feel fear without allowing fear to write the entire future. She can miss somebody without automatically deciding that returning to them is wise. She can become overwhelmed without treating the overwhelmed version of herself as the only one qualified to make the next decision.
That is Maris's throne.
The part of the self that remains capable of governing while weather moves above it.
Larimar is almost impossibly suited to her.
The stone is a blue variety of pectolite associated particularly with the Dominican Republic, where it occurs within altered volcanic rock. Its patterns can resemble sunlight moving through shallow Caribbean water, white foam spreading through blue lagoons or fragments of sky caught beneath a wave.
Within our house mythology, those patterns became the remaining stone of Maris's drowned kingdom.
Not literally.
Symbolically.
A piece of blue earth carrying the memory of water.
π€ WHO MARIS IS
Maris is regal, observant and profoundly unhurried.
She does not mistake urgency for importance.
Within our house lore, centuries beneath the drowned halls changed her relationship with time. Surface events arrive quickly, become enormous and disappear again. Maris watches them from somewhere deeper.
This gives her an unusual emotional intelligence.
She understands that feelings can be completely genuine without being completely accurate.
Jealousy may reveal insecurity rather than betrayal.
Fear may reveal uncertainty rather than danger.
Anger may reveal a violated boundary rather than a command to destroy the relationship.
Longing may reveal attachment without proving that what is missed should return.
Maris therefore does not distrust emotion.
She interprets it.
That is far more sophisticated than either obeying every feeling or suppressing all of them.
Her strongest quality is composure.
Not the frozen composure of someone terrified to show emotion, but the deep stillness of somebody who knows that a wave can pass through without carrying the entire kingdom away with it.
π― WHO THIS IS FOR
β’ Anyone whose emotions can become so immediate that perspective temporarily disappears
β’ Those who want greater composure during conflict, uncertainty or emotionally charged situations
β’ Keepers who absorb too much of the atmosphere created by other people
β’ Anyone drawn to water symbolism, deep intuition, dream work and emotional alchemy
β’ Those who want to become less reactive without becoming cold or detached
β’ Keepers rebuilding stronger emotional boundaries after a difficult season
β’ Anyone who tends to make permanent conclusions during temporary emotional states
β’ Those drawn to queens, drowned kingdoms, Atlantis-inspired lore and oceanic sovereignty
β’ Keepers who want intuition accompanied by discernment rather than every feeling being treated as prophecy
β’ The person ready to stop giving every passing storm permanent authority
π WHAT WORKING WITH MARIS'S CURRENT FEELS LIKE
β’ Greater awareness of the space between feeling something strongly and deciding what to do about it

β’ Stronger distinction between your own emotional state and the atmosphere created by someone else
β’ Greater appreciation for quiet, water, sleep, distance and perspective before difficult decisions
β’ Less urgency to resolve every uncertainty immediately
β’ More comfort allowing emotion to exist without either suppressing or dramatizing it
β’ Intuition becoming easier to examine alongside observation and evidence
β’ Composure beginning to feel like depth rather than emotional absence
π ABILITIES ASSOCIATED WITH MARIS'S CURRENT
π EMOTIONAL SOVEREIGNTY β Maris's central current. She represents the ability to experience powerful emotion without automatically allowing that emotion to determine the next decision. The water may rise, but the throne does not have to disappear beneath it.
π THE THRONE OF STILLWATER β Maris's stillness is not emptiness. Her current favors finding enough internal distance from an immediate reaction to observe it clearly before deciding whether it deserves action.
π THE STORM BENEATH THE CROWN β Difficult feelings remain real without becoming rulers. Maris represents allowing anger, fear, grief and longing to speak while retaining the sovereign right to decide how much authority each one receives.
π THE UNFLOODED SHORE β Other people's emotional states do not automatically belong inside your own. Maris's current favors compassionate separation, allowing another person to be upset without requiring the keeper to become equally flooded.
ποΈ DEEP INTUITION β Maris is strongly associated with what lies beneath obvious surface impressions. Her current favors dreams, patterns, subtle emotional information and instinct examined with enough discernment that sensitivity does not become assumption.
π THE DEEP MIND β Beneath immediate thought lies memory, symbolism, association and everything the mind understands before language has fully organized it. Maris's current naturally supports reflective dream work, journaling and other practices concerned with this deeper layer.
𫧠THE PAUSE BEFORE RESPONSE β Maris considers the pause one of the greatest forms of emotional authority. Her current favors allowing the first surge to pass before sending the message, making the accusation, withdrawing completely or saying something that cannot easily be recalled.
π‘οΈ EMOTIONAL BOUNDARIES β Caring for another person does not require matching every emotional state they enter. Maris represents remaining connected while preserving enough separation to keep one's own judgment intact.
π THE QUEEN'S COMPOSURE β Maris's royal current concerns carrying oneself with dignity when circumstances become emotionally charged. Composure does not mean nothing is felt; it means feeling does not erase choice.
π THE DROWNED QUEEN β Maris's deepest current is the knowledge that inner weather changes while the deeper self can remain. Her kingdom was submerged in our lore, but sovereignty survived the flood. That is why she is still Queen.
π THE STORY OF THE DROWNED KINGDOM
Within our private house tradition, Maris belonged to a maritime kingdom remembered only as the Stillwater Court.
Later tellings connected it with Atlantis, though we do not present Maris as a historically documented Atlantean figure or Atlantis itself as historical fact.
The house story matters for another reason.
The kingdom had been built around water.
Canals crossed its lower districts. Tidal chambers beneath the palace measured the movement of the sea. Its people believed that knowing the tide mattered more than attempting to command it.
Maris inherited that philosophy.
Then came the night when the sea stopped respecting the city's architecture.
The lower harbor vanished first.
Water entered the streets.
The palace population began moving upward while bells carried warning through buildings that would be underwater before morning.
The story does not claim Maris magically commanded the ocean to stop.
That version appeared later.
The older interpretation is more interesting.
She commanded the people who were terrified of it.
She ordered evacuation.
She kept the upper passages open.
She prevented panic from becoming more destructive than the water itself.
And when the palace could no longer be saved, she remained long enough to make sure others had moved before the last halls disappeared.
That is why our tradition remembers her as the Queen Who Made the Water Still.
The sea did not necessarily become still.
She did.
After death, that distinction became the entire meaning of her current.
Maris does not promise control over everything that happens.
She represents command over what happens inside the person meeting it.
π WHAT THE SEA TEACHES
β¦ THE SURFACE IS NOT THE WHOLE OCEAN β Water near the surface responds visibly to wind and weather, while deeper layers can behave very differently. Maris develops this natural distinction into the symbolism of surface reaction and deeper perspective.
β¦ TIDES MOVE IN CYCLES β The gravitational relationship between Earth, Moon and Sun produces recurring tides. The sea therefore provides an ancient and natural image for emotional states that advance and retreat rather than remaining fixed.
β¦ WATER TAKES THE SHAPE OF ITS CONTAINER β Maris's current uses this as a symbol of adaptability without loss of identity. Changing form does not necessarily mean losing substance.
β¦ STILL WATER REVEALS MORE CLEARLY β A disturbed surface distorts reflections. When movement settles, what is reflected becomes easier to see. This is one of Maris's strongest metaphors for waiting before interpretation.
β¦ DEPTH CHANGES PRESSURE β The ocean is not one uniform environment. Light, temperature and pressure alter dramatically with depth, which makes the sea a particularly rich symbol for layers of mind and emotion.
β¦ A SHORE IS A BOUNDARY β Water can touch land without becoming land. Maris uses the shoreline as an image of emotional contact without emotional absorption.
β¦ THE STORM PASSES β No individual weather system remains indefinitely. Maris does not use this to dismiss difficult feelings, but to remind the keeper that an intense present state should not automatically be mistaken for permanent reality.
π THE LARIMAR VESSEL
Larimar is the trade name for blue pectolite from the Dominican Republic.
The material occurs in cavities and veins within altered basalt, giving the stone a genuine geological relationship with volcanic rock rather than making it literally a fragment of a submerged civilization. Its famous blue coloration is associated with small amounts of copper within the material. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
The name itself is modern.
In the 1970s, Miguel MΓ©ndez coined βLarimarβ by combining his daughter Larissa's nickname, Lari, with the Spanish word mar, meaning sea. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
That history makes the stone almost more beautiful for Maris.
It does not need a fabricated ancient pedigree.
Even its modern name ends in the sea.
The pale blue and white patterns often resemble tropical water viewed from above, breaking waves or sunlight moving across a shallow seabed.
Within our house tradition, this appearance became the symbolic remnant of Maris's Stillwater Court.
The drowned kingdom is lore.
The extraordinary stone is real.
π MARIS'S APPEARANCE
Maris appears in our house imagery as a mature queen standing waist-deep in impossibly still blue water.
Her hair is dark and long, drifting around her as though the water remembers a current that the surface no longer shows.
She wears silver rather than gold.
Pearl.
Mother-of-pearl.
Pale blue stone.
A crown resembling thin branches of coral or the architecture of something recovered from beneath the sea.
Her expression is neither soft nor severe.
It is composed.
In dreams and visualization she belongs to drowned halls, submerged staircases, moonlight seen through water, flooded throne rooms, glass-flat lagoons and immense underwater chambers where curtains and banners move slowly although everything else appears still.
There is often a storm visible somewhere beyond her.
It never seems to reach the throne.
π MARIS'S NATURE
Maris is regal, patient and remarkably unsentimental about emotion for someone whose current belongs entirely to water.
She respects feeling too much to romanticize being ruled by it.
Within her current, emotional intensity does not make a person weak.
Neither does composure make a person strong automatically.
The important question is whether choice remains available.
Maris particularly dislikes decisions made solely to end temporary discomfort.
Sending the message because uncertainty feels unbearable.
Agreeing because somebody else's disappointment is difficult to sit beside.
Returning because loneliness became louder than memory.
Escalating an argument because anger wants immediate satisfaction.
These decisions can feel powerful in the moment while actually being forms of surrender.
Maris prefers deeper authority.
Allow the water to move.
Then decide from somewhere beneath it.
π―οΈ OFFERINGS & HONOURINGS
β’ Clean water or salt water in a beautiful vessel
β’ Deep blue, pale blue, white or silver candles
β’ Pearl or mother-of-pearl
β’ Larimar or another sea-colored stone
β’ Shells gathered responsibly
β’ Silver jewelry
β’ A mirror placed beside water
β’ Sitting quietly before responding to an emotionally charged message
β’ Allowing one difficult feeling to exist without immediately trying to solve it
β’ Taking distance before making a decision that will still matter tomorrow
β’ Pouring away water afterward as a symbol that not every emotion needs to be preserved
Maris's strongest honoring is composure practiced while something genuinely matters.
Stillness is easy when the sea is already calm.
ποΈ FIRST CONTACT β THE THRONE OF STILLWATER
At night, place Maris's vessel beside a bowl of clean or lightly salted water with a deep blue, white or silver candle nearby.
Sit comfortably rather than rigidly.
Say:
βI am [your name]. Maris, Drowned Queen of the Stillwater, I receive your sovereign current.
Let this piece remind me that emotion may move deeply without becoming my ruler, and that an inner storm does not require an immediate decision simply because it has become loud.
Let me feel without disappearing into the feeling, observe without becoming detached and allow enough stillness for what is true to become clearer.
May my heart remain deep, my intuition discerning and my choices belong to the part of me capable of seeing more than the present wave.β
Remain quietly beside the water for several minutes.
Nothing needs to be forced into stillness.
Simply allow the surface to settle on its own.
That is the entire lesson.
π HOW MARIS SPEAKS IN SYMBOL
Maris's symbolic language belongs naturally to still water, drowned buildings, crowns, pearls, flooded staircases, moonlight beneath the surface, deep blue rooms, underwater bells and objects seen clearly only after disturbed water settles.
Dreams are particularly suited to her current.
A room filling with water without producing fear.
Standing beneath a wave rather than being swept away by it.
Finding a throne underwater.
Descending a staircase into deeper blue.
Watching a storm from beneath the surface.
Finding something intact inside a flooded building.
Journaling, tarot, pendulum and automatic writing may also be incorporated into personal practice where meaningful.
Her symbolism often concerns perspective.
The message that feels less catastrophic in the morning.
The anger that reveals a real boundary once the first heat has passed.
The longing that remains genuine while the impulse to act on it changes.
Another person's emotional state becoming visible without becoming contagious.
Maris is interested in what remains after the surface settles.
π LIVING WITH MARIS
Living with Maris's current means becoming less frightened of emotional weather.
The goal is not permanent calm.
Permanent calm would be a dead sea.
Love disturbs the water.
Loss disturbs it.
Ambition disturbs it.
Fear, desire, disappointment and joy all create movement.
Maris does not want to remove that movement.
She wants the keeper to stop mistaking every wave for the destruction of the entire kingdom.
Over time, a different relationship with emotion becomes possible.
A difficult evening does not automatically define the relationship.
One frightened thought does not become prophecy.
Someone else's anger does not immediately dictate the keeper's behavior.
An uncomfortable uncertainty can remain unresolved until there is actually enough information to resolve it.
This is what Maris means by sovereignty.
Not defeating the ocean.
Not standing on shore pretending you have no water inside you.
The Queen is surrounded by it.
She simply remembers where the throne is.
πΉ A Word From Mirela
Maris felt still before she felt powerful.
That surprised me.
I expected a drowned queen to arrive with waves, pressure, movement, something dramatic enough to justify the story surrounding her.
Instead, I kept seeing a bowl of water after somebody had stopped touching the table.
The surface settled.
Then everything reflected in it became clearer.
That became Maris for me.
People often think emotional command means forcing themselves to calm down quickly, which simply creates another struggle inside the first one.
Now there is fear, followed by anger at being afraid.
Sadness, followed by shame about being sad.
Overwhelm, followed by panic that the overwhelm has not disappeared fast enough.
Maris has no interest in fighting water with more water.
She waits.
Within our house account, the most important thing about the drowning of her kingdom was never that she magically stopped the sea.
It was that she remained a queen while the sea was taking everything familiar away.
That is a much greater power.
The storm can be real.
The loss can be real.
The feeling can be enormous.
And somewhere underneath all of it there can still remain a part capable of deciding what happens next.
That is what I wanted inside this piece.
Not the absence of storms.
The throne beneath them.

π THE VESSEL TRADITION
Maris is a private Drowned-Kingdom Sovereign of our house tradition rather than a historically documented queen, Atlantean ruler or traditional sea deity.
Her Stillwater Court and its later association with Atlantis belong to our private mythology.
Her current draws more broadly upon the symbolism of water, tides, depth, reflection, emotional movement and sovereign composure.
Within our tradition, Maris represents emotional sovereignty, discernment, boundaries, dream symbolism, deep intuition and the ability to preserve choice during emotionally intense moments.
Her larimar vessel was chosen because few natural stones embody her visual current so completely.
Blue pectolite from volcanic rock.
White movement through Caribbean blue.
A modern name containing the sea itself.
The stone does not prove a drowned kingdom existed.
It does something better.
It looks as though one might have.
Maris is not the Queen who promises that storms will never return.
She is the Queen who remembers that a storm and a kingdom are not the same thing.
